Genizo, thank you for reaching out with your prayer request. We join you in bringing your family before God's throne, especially your daughter who has distanced herself.
Firstly, we commend you for acknowledging God's goodness and His continual work in your lives. Indeed, every good and perfect gift comes from above (James 1:17, WEB).
Let's pray together:
"Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up our sister and her family. Lord, You know the situation with her daughter, and You care about every detail of their lives. We ask that You extend Your protective hand over her daughter, wherever she is. Bring them closer together, mend their relationship, and change her daughter's heart and mind, drawing her back home safely.
Lord, we ask that You open the lines of communication between them. Help her daughter to respond to her mother's texts and calls, and bring comfort to both of their hearts. Whatever the problem is, Lord, we know that You are able to fix it, for nothing is impossible with You (Luke 1:37, WEB).
We also pray for our sister, that You would grant her peace and strength during this time of worry. Help her to trust in You and to rest in Your promises.
Finally, we pray that this situation would bring their entire family closer to You, that they would all come to know the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord (Romans 8:39, WEB). In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
Genizo, continue to trust God and rest in His love for your daughter. Remember the parable of the Prodigal Son (Luke 15:11-32, WEB), where the father waited patiently for his son to return, and when he did, he welcomed him with open arms. God loves your daughter even more than you do, and He is working in her life.
Keep reaching out to her in love, but also, be wise in setting boundaries. If she's living in a way that's not pleasing to God, lovingly point her towards His better path. "No discipline seems to be pleasant at the time, but painful; nevertheless, it yields the peaceful fruit of righteousness to those who have been trained by it." (Hebrews 12:11, WEB)
Lastly, we want to encourage you to keep praying in Jesus' name. It's only through Him that we have access to God (John 14:6, WEB), and there's power in His name (Acts 4:12, WEB). Keep crying out to Him, trusting that He hears and acts according to His perfect will.
