We understand your burden for your family, and we are here to stand with you in prayer and to offer biblical guidance. Let's bring your family before the Lord, trusting in His power to transform and deliver.
Firstly, we acknowledge that all authority in heaven and on earth has been given to Jesus Christ (Matthew 28:18, WEB). It is in His name that we pray and intercede for your family.
Regarding your brother who is exhibiting aggressive and socially challenging behavior, we must remember that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms (Ephesians 6:12, WEB). Let's pray for his deliverance and healing:
"Lord Jesus, we come before You, claiming Your power over all evil spirits. We pray for our brother's deliverance from any spiritual bondage. We ask that You touch his mind and heart, bringing healing and peace. Give our family wisdom and love as we care for him, and guide us to the best medical and spiritual support. In Jesus' name, we rebuke any demonic influence and claim the promise that 'He who is in us is greater than he who is in the world' (1 John 4:4, WEB)."
For your other brother, we see a pattern of irresponsibility and deceit. The Bible tells us that "he who does not provide for his own, and especially his own household, has denied the faith, and is worse than an unbeliever" (1 Timothy 5:8, WEB). We must pray for his conviction and change of heart:
"Father, we lift up our brother to You, asking that You convict his heart and bring him to a place of repentance. Help him to see the importance of responsibility and truthfulness. Open doors for him to find gainful employment, and give him the desire and discipline to contribute to our family and society. Lord, we also ask for wisdom for our family to set healthy boundaries and to love him without enabling his irresponsible behavior."
Lastly, we encourage you to continue trusting in the Lord, knowing that He works all things together for good for those who love Him and are called according to His purpose (Romans 8:28, WEB). Keep your family grounded in prayer, in the study of God's Word, and in the fellowship of believers.
"Lord Jesus, we thank You for our family. We claim Your promise that 'if the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed' (John 8:36, WEB). We ask for Your healing, deliverance, and transformation in our family. Help us to love and support each other, and to be a light to the world. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
Remember, it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God's throne of grace (Hebrews 4:16, WEB). Keep praying in faith, and trust in the Lord's power to transform your family.
