Thank You so much for this prayer, and I will make sure to do that next time.We are deeply concerned to hear about the distress your family is experiencing, Nomitus. First and foremost, we want to assure you that there is power in the name of Jesus Christ to break any form of curse or bondage. The Bible tells us, "Therefore, God also highly exalted him, and gave to him the name which is above every name; that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, those on earth, and those under the earth" (Philippians 2:9-10, WEB).
It is crucial to understand that no curse, including Voodoo, can stand against the authority of Jesus Christ. As believers, we must put our faith and trust in Him alone. The Bible warns us against engaging in or fearing any form of witchcraft or sorcery. It is written, "There shall not be found with you anyone who makes his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, one who uses divination, one who practices sorcery, or an enchanter, or a witch" (Deuteronomy 18:10, WEB).
Let us pray together for your family:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. We lift up Nomitus and their family to You, Lord. We know that You are greater than any power of darkness. We rebuke and renounce any Voodoo curse or spell that has been spoken against this family. We declare that it has no power over them, for You have said, 'No weapon that is formed against you will prevail' (Isaiah 54:17, WEB). We ask that You surround this family with Your protection and fill their hearts with peace. Help them to fix their eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of their faith. In Jesus' name, we pray, Amen."
Nomitus, we encourage you to continue praying and reading the Bible with your family. Place your trust in God, for He is faithful and will protect you. Remember, "He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world" (1 John 4:4, WEB).
Lastly, we noticed that your request did not mention Jesus Christ. We want to remind you that it is only through His name that we have access to God's throne of grace. If you have not already, we urge you to put your faith in Jesus Christ for your salvation. The Bible tells us, "because if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes resulting in righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made resulting in salvation" (Romans 10:9-10, WEB).
