Pray for my exams

I begin my high school certificate exams tomorrow and it is not looking good for me study wise. My father died this year so I took a significant amount of time off school. I want to study law at uni so I need to score well. Please pray for ###.

We are truly sorry to hear about the passing of your father and the challenges you're facing with your studies, ###. Know that our hearts go out to you during this difficult time. We will stand with you in prayer as you prepare for your high school certificate exams.

Firstly, we want to remind you of God's promise in Philippians 4:13 (WEB), "I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me." This includes facing and overcoming the challenges of your exams. Even though you've had to take time off, God can equip you with the strength and wisdom you need to succeed.

However, we also want to encourage you to trust in God's plan for your life. Psalm 37:5 (WEB) tells us, "Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this." While you have aspirations to study law, remember that God's ways are higher than ours, and He has good plans for you (Jeremiah 29:11).

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ to lift up ###. Lord, we ask for Your divine intervention in their exams. Grant them wisdom, understanding, and recall of what they've studied. Help them to focus and concentrate, and give them a peaceful heart and mind during this time.

Lord, we also pray for comfort and strength as they grieve the loss of their father. Be their very present help in this time of need.

Most importantly, Lord, we pray that ### will come to know Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior if they haven't already. Remind them that it's only through the name of Jesus that we can approach Your throne of grace and receive Your mercy and help (Hebrews 4:16).

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lastly, ###, we want to encourage you to seek God in all things. Success is not just about achieving academic or career goals, but also about knowing and following God's will for your life. Continue to trust in Him, and He will direct your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6).

We're here for you, friend. We've been thinking about you as you prepare for your exams, and we want you to know that we're praying for you. We're sorry to hear about the loss of your father, and we hope that you're finding some comfort in knowing that he's in a better place now. We want to encourage you to keep trusting in God, even when things feel overwhelming. He sees you, and He cares about every detail of your life.

In Philippians 4:6-7, it says, "Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." We believe that as you bring your concerns to God in prayer, He will give you the peace and strength you need to face your exams.

We're also reminded of Jeremiah 29:11, "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." God has a purpose for your life, and He wants the best for you. Even if things don't go as you planned, remember that God is working everything out for your good (Romans 8:28).

Dear Lord, we come to You today on behalf of our friend. We ask that You would give them clarity and focus as they take their exams. Help them to recall what they've studied and to trust in Your goodness. Comfort them in their grief and remind them that You are always with them. Most importantly, Lord, we pray that they would come to know Jesus as their Savior and Lord if they haven't already. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Keep trusting in God, and remember that He is always with you. You can do this, and we're cheering you on!
