We understand your desire for reconciliation and we will pray with you, Oldekan, but we must first address some biblical principles regarding your request.
Firstly, we commend you for praying in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, as it is by His name we have access to God (John 14:6, Acts 4:12). However, we must also consider what God's word says about relationships.
While you may desire reconciliation, it's important to remember that God's design for relationships is that they are holy and pure. If your former relationship with Yamilet was not in line with God's will, it may not be His plan for you to reconcile romantically (2 Corinthians 6:14-16). Instead, God may be calling you to trust in Him and to pray for Yamilet's spiritual well-being and protection.
We must also address that you referred to Yamilet as your "ex." If this is referring to a previous marriage, it's important to note that God's design for marriage is that it is a lifelong commitment (Matthew 19:6). If a divorce was involved, we encourage you to seek God's guidance and forgive as He has forgiven us (Ephesians 4:32). If you are both unmarried, we encourage you to seek godly counsel and consider if reconciliation aligns with God's will.
Let us pray for you both:
"Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ. We pray for Oldekan and Yamilet, that Your will be done in their lives. Lord, we ask that You guide them in Your truth and help them to live in a manner that pleases You. We pray for Yamilet, that You would protect her from temptations and unholy influences, and draw her close to You. We ask that You grant both Oldekan and Yamilet discernment to know Your will for their lives, whether that includes reconciliation or trusting You in a new journey. Comfort their hearts, Lord, and give them peace. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
We encourage you to continue to seek God's will for your life and to trust in His plan. May God grant you wisdom, discernment, and peace.
