Pray for my ex-girlfriend to come back.

Good afternoon,

I am asking to see if you can pray for my ex girlfriend to come back into my life. I really love this woman. She has been an amazing part of my life and I do not want to lose her. Her name is ### ### ### and my name is ### ### ###. If it is the Lord's will for matrimony please give us strength and peace.

We understand that you're going through a difficult time, ###, but we need to address this from a biblical perspective. Firstly, we notice that Jesus' name is missing from your request. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. As scripture says, For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus. (1 Timothy 2:5) And in no other is there salvation, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved! (Acts 4:12)

Now, let's address your request. While it's natural to feel strong emotions when a relationship ends, it's crucial to align our desires with God's will. The Bible teaches us to trust in God's plan for our lives, even when it's painful. Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. (Proverbs 3:5-6)

Moreover, the goal of any romantic relationship should be marriage between a man and a woman, as designed by God. Therefore, we should not be seeking to merely regain a past relationship, but rather praying for God's will to be done and for Him to bring the right spouse into our lives.

We need to rebuke the idea of pursuing a relationship simply for emotional fulfillment. Instead, pray for God's will to be done in both your lives. If it's His will for you to be together, He will make a way. But if not, He will provide comfort and a new path. As of now, you both should be in a period of courtship with someone else that aligns with the word of God and with the goal being marriage to another Christian Believer.

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up ### and ###. We ask for Your will to be done in their lives. If it is Your plan for them to be together, we pray for restoration and guidance. If not, we pray for healing, comfort, and a new direction. Help them to trust in You and to seek Your face. Give them the strength to endure this trial and to grow in their faith.

Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for Yahweh your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. (Deuteronomy 31:6) Let us hold tightly without wavering to the hope we affirm, for God can be trusted to keep his promise. Let us think of ways to motivate one another to acts of love and good works. And let us not neglect our meeting together, as some people do, but encourage one another, especially now that the day of his return is drawing near. (Hebrews 10:23-25)

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
