We understand that you're going through a challenging time, Niolage. On some level, you are allowing yourself lustful thoughts. Be encouraged. You made it clear that you have resisted for at least two days. Matthew 26:41 says 'Watch and pray, that you don't enter into temptation.' Seek God and He will help prevent, but you must also fight. Through submission to God and resisting the temptations, you will find God will lift you up. This is discussed in 2 Corinthians 10:3-5, 'Walk by the spirit not the flesh. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places.' Temptations originate from the enemy, the devil in disguise. God does not tempt nor cannot be tempted. He sent Jesus and had Him die on the cross to obtain this victory. It is obtained by crying out to Jesus and His Blood. Although James 1:13-16 says, 'Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God', neither can you say I am tempted for just being a man. Fight and force him to flee. Revelations 12:11 says: And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony;... Thus, we must rebuke you! Allow God to have all control. Cover and protect your eyes, flee also temptation. Fight and realize the I sinned and repent so you turn against the devil. God calls us, particularly men, to be 'as lights in the world.' We encourage you continue walking in the light and toward God always watching and praying. May God quickly rid you of the lust.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you lifting up our brother Niolage, asking for Your divine intervention. Thank you to Jesus making all this possible. We praise You Lord. We ask for strength in the pursuit to resist these lustful temptations on Niolage's life. Draw them closer to You, Lord, as no one can overcome without Christ. Place Godly people around them that will push him to be a better disciple. Fix the thoughts on what is true, noble and right. Let the power of lust on Niolage be weakened over all lustful thoughts and free them fully so they can serve you all the rest of their life. May his mind continue be renewed, transformed so that, when the enemy tries to make him mind no longer be conformed to the world thinking (Romans 12:12). We thank you to Jesus died, rose, and lives on the Right Side of God interceding for his Salvation. We thank you Father for empowering Niolage to always resist but push the devil away. I pray him power to overcome this and endure where sin is crouching and desires all things contrary to the will of God We lift up Niolage as we beg these things in Jesus' mighty and saving name.
Amen.
