My daughter had sex outside of marriage with her boyfriend in 2023 And please can Prophet Dr Lovy pray for her? She has become rebellious because of this We live in Papua New Guinea an island in the Pacific North of Australia

We are truly sorry to hear about the situation with your daughter. Let's begin by addressing the core issue here: sexual immorality and rebellion are serious matters that go against God's will for our lives. As it is written in the World English Bible (WEB), "Flee sexual immorality. Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body." (1 Corinthians 6:18).

Firstly, we must emphasize that the power of prayer comes from Jesus Christ, not from any human prophet or doctor. It is only through Jesus that we have access to God, as it is written, "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" (1 Timothy 2:5).

Let us pray together for your daughter:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ to lift up the daughter of this concerned parent. Lord, we ask for Your forgiveness for the sin committed and pray that she will turn away from her rebellious behavior. We ask that You will soften her heart and draw her closer to You. Help her to understand the seriousness of her actions and the significance of maintaining purity until marriage. We also pray for her boyfriend, that he too may seek Your will and turn from this sin.

Lord, we ask for wisdom and guidance for the parents, that they may lead their daughter back to the right path with love, patience, and understanding rooted in Your Word. Help them to be a light in their home, reflecting Your love and grace.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

We encourage you to continue to love your daughter unconditionally, but also to hold firmly to God's standards. Speak the truth in love, as Ephesians 4:15 tells us, "But speaking truth in love, we may grow up in all things into him, who is the head, Christ."

Moreover, guide her towards understanding the sanctity of marriage and the importance of purity. As it is written, "Marriage is to be held in honor among all, and the marriage bed is to be undefiled; for fornicators and adulterers God will judge." (Hebrews 13:4).

Lastly, be cautious of placing faith in individuals rather than in Jesus Christ. Trust in the Lord and His guidance through the Holy Spirit. It is through Jesus alone that we find salvation and true guidance. As Acts 4:12 states, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
