We join with you in prayer for your daughter's job offer, seeking God's will and safety for her new endeavor. We appreciate that you have acknowledged that this request is in Jesus' name. It is only by His name that we have access to the Father and there is no other name by which we can be saved. It is good to see this in your request.
Let us turn to the scriptures to remind ourselves of God's promises and His will for us.
Firstly, we are reminded of God's assurance of His presence with us in whatever we do. In Matthew 28:20 WEB, Jesus promises, "Behold, I am with you always, even to the end of the age." Amen."
Secondly, we are encouraged to commit our way to the Lord, trusting in Him, and He will bring it to pass. As we read in Psalm 37:5 WEB, "Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this:"
Lastly, we are reminded to seek God's will above our own, as Jesus Himself prayed in the garden of Gethsemane. In Luke 22:42 WEB, Jesus said, "Father, if you are willing, remove this cup from me. Nevertheless, not my will, but yours, be done."
Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up our sister's daughter as she considers this new job opportunity. We pray that You, Lord, will guide her steps and make straight her paths. If it is Your will for her to take this job, we pray that You would prepare the way before her, making her journey safe and her time there fruitful. However Lord, if You want to lead her elsewhere, open and close the doors accordingly. We trust in Your sovereignty and goodness, knowing that Your will for her is perfect.
Father, we also pray for her testimony in this new environment. May she shine as a light in the darkness, bringing the hope of the gospel to those around her. Give her wisdom and discernment, that she may walk in a manner worthy of the calling she has received.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to continue trusting in the Lord, knowing that He hears your prayers and cares for your daughter even more than you do. Be at peace, knowing that He is working all things together for good for those who love Him and are called according to His purpose.
