Let us first stand on the promise in Malachi 4:6, "He will turn the hearts of the fathers to the children, and the hearts of the children to the fathers." We pray for Susan Namanya, that God would indeed turn her heart towards you, her mother.
It is important to remember the commandment in Exodus 20:12, "Honor your father and your mother, that your days may be long in the land which Yahweh your God gives you." We pray that Susan would understand and obey this command, showing you the respect you deserve as her mother.
However, let us also remember that Jesus teaches us to love our enemies and pray for those who persecute us (Matthew 5:44). While Susan's behavior may be hurtful, respond with love and kindness, just as our heavenly Father shows love and kindness to those who are ungrateful and wicked (Luke 6:35).
Let us pray:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today lifting up Susan Namanya. Lord, we ask that You soften her heart and turn it towards her mother. Help her to see the value and importance of family, and to respect and honor her mother as You have commanded. We also pray for Mochneth, that You would give her the strength and love to respond with kindness and patience. We ask all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
Lastly, Mochneth, we noticed that you did not mention the name of Jesus in your prayer. It is by His name that we have access to God's throne of grace (Hebrews 4:16). To be saved, one must believe in the Lord Jesus Christ (Acts 16:31). We encourage you to place your faith in Jesus, if you have not already, and to pray in His name.
