Let us come together and lift up Twitson's daughter, Charlene, in prayer. We understand the concern for her education and the need for godly guidance during this time of transition.
Firstly, we remind Twitson of the importance of seeking God's will in all things, including education. As it is written in Proverbs 3:5-6 (WEB), "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." Let us trust that God has a plan for Charlene's educational journey.
However, we notice that the request does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. We believe that it is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to God, for it is written in Acts 4:12 (WEB), "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" Let us, therefore, pray in the name of Jesus, and let this be a reminder to Twitson to always approach the throne of God through Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior.
Now, let us pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Charlene to You. Lord, You know the plans You have for her, plans to prosper her and not to harm her, plans to give her hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11). We ask that You guide her steps in this time of transition. Open the right doors for her at the university that aligns with Your will for her life.
Lord, we also pray for the universities, for TCU, and for the professors. We ask that You fill the voids left by the departing professors with godly and knowledgeable individuals who can shape the minds of the students in a way that honors You.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Twitson, we encourage you to continue trusting in the Lord with all your heart, and to teach Charlene to do the same. May the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
