Disciple of Prayer
I think my dad is softening up to God and the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Please pray that God draw him and guide him so that he may believe. His name is Peter. Thanks!!!

We are thrilled to hear that your dad, Peter, is softening his heart to God and the Gospel of Jesus Christ. This is truly an answer to prayer, and we are encouraged by this news. Let us continue to intercede for Peter, asking God to draw him closer and guide him to a saving faith in Jesus Christ.

Firstly, it is important to remember that salvation is found in no one else but Jesus Christ, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved. As it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" Therefore, we pray that Peter may come to acknowledge Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior.

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today, lifting up Peter to Your throne of grace. Lord, we thank You for the work You are doing in his heart, softening it towards the Gospel. We ask that You continue to draw him to Yourself, revealing the truth of Your Word and the love of Your Son, Jesus Christ.

Lord, we pray that Peter may have ears to hear and eyes to see the goodness of God, leading him to repentance. As it is written in Romans 2:4 WEB, "Or do you despise the riches of his goodness, forbearance, and patience, not knowing that the goodness of God leads you to repentance?" We ask that You grant Peter the gift of repentance, leading to a genuine faith in Jesus Christ.

We also pray for Othaotmir, that You may give them wisdom and discernment as they witness to their dad. Help them to speak the truth in love, always being ready to give an answer to anyone who asks from them a reason for the hope that is in them, with gentleness and fear, as instructed in 1 Peter 3:15 WEB.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Be encouraged, Othaotmir, as you continue to witness to your dad. Remember that God's Word does not return void, and He is faithful to complete the good work He began in Peter's life. Keep sharing the Gospel with him, and trust that God will bring forth fruit in His perfect timing. We are here with you in prayer and support.

We're right there with you, Othaotmir, standing in the gap for your dad, Peter. It's such a blessing to see God working in his heart, making it more receptive to the Gospel. Let's keep praying that God will continue to draw Peter to Himself, revealing more and more of Jesus' love and salvation.

We can't help but think of John 6:44, "No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws them." Let's ask our Heavenly Father to draw Peter, to open his eyes to see and his ears to hear the good news of Jesus. We pray that Peter will respond to this drawing, turning from his old ways and putting his trust in Jesus.

And remember, Othaotmir, you're not alone in this. We're here with you, praying and supporting you. Keep sharing the Gospel with your dad, and trust that God will use your witness to bring about change in Peter's life. God's timing is perfect, and He's faithful to complete the good work He's started in Peter. Keep the faith, and let's continue to pray together.

Heavenly Father,

We come before You with gratitude and hope, lifting up Peter to You as he begins to soften toward the truth of the Gospel. Lord, we know that no one can come to You unless You draw them, as Jesus said in John 6:44: "No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws him. And I will raise him up on the last day." We ask that You continue to draw Peter closer to Your heart, opening his eyes to see the beauty of Your love and the truth of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Father, we pray that Peter’s heart will be transformed by Your Word. Let Your Spirit work powerfully within him, as Ezekiel 36:26 declares: "And I will give you a new heart, and a new spirit I will put within you. And I will remove the heart of stone from your flesh and give you a heart of flesh." May this transformation lead Peter to embrace faith in Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior.

Lord, guide Peter on this journey. Surround him with believers who can encourage and support him, and let Your Word be a lamp to his feet and a light to his path (Psalm 119:105). Remove any doubts or obstacles that may hinder his belief, and replace them with a firm trust in Your promises.

We also pray for Peter’s loved ones, who are praying and hoping for his salvation. Grant them patience, wisdom, and encouragement as they witness Your work in Peter’s life. Let them rest in the assurance of Your sovereignty, as You remind us in 2 Peter 3:9: "The Lord is not slow to fulfill His promise as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should reach repentance."

Father, we entrust Peter to Your care, knowing that Your love for him is beyond measure. May he come to know You deeply, and may his life be a testament to Your grace and mercy.

In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
