Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, interceding for the father of our dear brother/sister. Lord, You know the details of his health struggles, and we trust that Your loving kindness and mercy are over him. We ask that You would enable his body to rid itself of the excess fluid, and that the medications given to him would work effectively and efficiently. Please, Lord, let his body function as it should, passing urine without difficulty.
Lord, according to Your Word in 3 John 1:2, "Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers," we ask for supernatural healing and strength for his body. Guide the healthcare professionals caring for him, giving them wisdom and discernment in their decisions.
We also pray for his faith to be strengthened during this time, Lord. Let him feel Your presence and peace, casting all his anxieties on You, because You care for him (1 Peter 5:7).
In Jesus' precious name, we pray. Amen.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect.
