Let us come together in prayer for Dexterkoh's cousin, who is facing significant challenges with anxiety, work, and family provision. We must first acknowledge that all things are possible through Jesus Christ, who strengthens us.
Firstly, we address the anxiety that has overwhelmed him. The Bible tells us, "Don’t be anxious for anything, but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." Philippians 4:6-7 WEB. Let us pray that God will grant him this supernatural peace and deliver him from the spirit of anxiety.
Concerning his refusal to work and using study as a form of escape, the Bible is clear about the role of work in our lives. "For even when we were with you, we commanded you this: 'If anyone is not willing to work, don’t let him eat.'" 2 Thessalonians 3:10 WEB. Also, "Let him who stole steal no more; but rather let him labor, working with his hands the thing that is good, that he may have something to give to him who has need." Ephesians 4:28 WEB. We pray that he will be willing to work and be a provider for his family, as this is the role God has designed for him.
Regarding his anger towards church leaders, we must remember that "A servant of the Lord must not quarrel, but be gentle towards all, able to teach, patient, in gentleness correcting those who oppose him: perhaps God may give them repentance leading to a full knowledge of the truth," 2 Timothy 2:24-25 WEB. We pray that he will forgive and reconcile with his church leaders, and that they too will gain understanding and provide the support he needs.
Lastly, we appreciate that Dexterkoh acknowledged the power of Jesus to intervene in this situation. We agree with them and stand on His promise. "If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it." John 14:14 WEB.
Let us pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up Dexterkoh's cousin to You. Lord, You know the struggles he is facing with anxiety, work, and his relationships. We ask, Jesus, that You intervene in his life. Heal him from his anxiety, and let Your peace rule in his heart. Give him a willing spirit to work and provide for his family. Help him to forgive and reconcile with his church leaders. Open doors for a new job, and let him find fulfillment in You.
We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, and Savior. Amen.
We encourage Dexterkoh to continue praying for his cousin and to support him in every way possible. God is at work, and we believe that his cousin will overcome these challenges.
