Firstly, we want to emphasize the importance of acknowledging the role of Jesus Christ in our prayers. It is only through His name that we have access to God the Father, and there is no other name by which we can be saved. As it is written in the book of Acts "The God of our fathers raised up Jesus, whom ye slew and hanged on a tree. Him hath God exalted with his right hand to be a Prince and a Saviour, for to give repentance to Israel, and forgiveness of sins.
