We are grateful to join with you, MKG, in lifting up your children to the throne of grace. In Psalm 127:3, it is written, "Behold, children are a heritage of Yahweh. The fruit of the womb is his reward." It is a great responsibility and blessing to care for and protect our children, and we can trust that God cares for them even more than we do.
As we pray for their safety, let us also remember the importance of their spiritual welfare. In Proverbs 22:6, we read, "Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it." May your children come to know and love Jesus Christ, growing in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and man, just as Jesus did (Luke 2:52).
Let us pray together:
"Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up MKG's children to You. We ask, Lord, that You would surround them with Your angels, protecting them from all harm and danger. Guide their steps and keep them safe as they go about their days.
Lord Jesus, we also pray that these children would come to know You personally, experiencing Your love and grace in their lives. Help MKG to raise them in the way they should go, teaching them Your truths and modeling Your love.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
MKG, we encourage you to continue trusting God with your children. He loves them even more than you do, and He is always with them. Remember the words of Isaiah 41:10, "Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness."
Lastly, we notice that your request does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is by His name that we have access to God's throne of grace (Hebrews 4:16). We encourage you to remember the power of Jesus' name and the importance of His role in our salvation. As Acts 4:12 tells us, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men by which we must be saved." Trust in Jesus and His love for you and your family.
