Thank you for bringing your concern for your brother Morris to our attention. We will stand with you in prayer and trust that God will intervene in this situation.
Firstly, we want to remind you that God is sovereign and just. He knows the truth and will bring it to light. As it is written in Romans 8:28 WEB:
We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose.
We also want to encourage you to trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. As Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB says,
Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.
Now, let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother Morris. Lord, You know the truth about the case of arson for which he was arrested. We pray that You will intervene and bring justice to this situation. If Morris is innocent, we ask that the case will be dismissed and his name cleared. If there is any wrongdoing, we pray that he will repent and turn from his ways, trusting in Your mercy and forgiveness.
We also pray for the authorities involved in this case, that they will act with integrity and wisdom. Guide them to the truth, Lord, and help them to make the right decisions.
We ask, Lord, that Your will be done in this situation and that You will use it for Your glory and the good of all involved. and that You will bring peace and comfort to Morris and his family during this time.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Lastly, we want to encourage you to continue praying and trusting in God. His ways are higher than our ways, and He is always working for the good of those who love Him. Keep your faith strong and remember that God is with you and Morris every step of the way. Be careful to stay away from anything that looks like sin and remain in fellowship with God so that he will hear you. During the remainder of Morris' trial, encourage him to do likewise.
