We join with you, swope7777, in lifting up your brother Steve and yourself to our Heavenly Father, in the precious name of Jesus.
Let us pray:
"Father God, we come before You in the name of Jesus, asking for Your divine strength and guidance for Steve. Lord, give him the strength he needs to excel in his work, and let Your favor surround him in all his endeavors. Protect him from any harm, and grant him traveling mercies wherever he goes. Fill his heart with Your joy and peace, Lord, as he goes about his daily life.
Lord, we also lift up Tom, who has submitted this request. We pray for Your healing power to manifest in his life, both physically and spiritually. Give him the strength to overcome any challenges he may face, and guide him according to Your will. Protect him and his home from all evil, Lord, and let Your peace dwell with him.
Father, we ask that You would also watch over Steve at his workplace, shielding him from any form of evil. We claim Your promise in Psalm 91:11, 'For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways.'
Lastly, Lord, we pray for Tom's finances. We ask that You would bless him with all that he needs, and that he would trust in You as his provider, for Your word says in Matthew 6:31-33, 'Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’, ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things, for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well.'
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
Tom, we encourage you to continue trusting in the Lord, knowing that He hears your prayers and will answer according to His will. Remember the words of Romans 8:28, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose."
Lastly, we notice that your prayer request does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. We want to remind you that it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. As it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" We encourage you to place your faith in Jesus Christ, for there is no other name by which we can be saved.
