Pray for my broken relationship

Dear Heavenly Father, In Jesus’ name, I pray to you and thank you for the countless blessings you’ve put into my life. Most of all, thank you for being my Father. You have seen me lately, unhappy… full of anxiety, defensiveness, my face downcast and my heart full of resentment and guilt… Lord please forgive me for pulling away from You in my dark moments, when I should have ran towards You. Thank you for always being there for me, even though I do not deserve it. Tonight I pray to you with a request that comes from the bottom of my heart: please mend my broken relationship with my ex boyfriend. Father, for the past week I have been so heartbroken and lost, but You were with me… thank you for carrying me through this difficult time. I am forever grateful for your mercy and grace. Through my pain and weakness, You have made me stronger, kinder, and more understanding. I know I made many mistakes in my relationship… but God I sincerely believe that we can be better this time, because this time we will be walking with You. But ultimately, only You know what is best… So Father God this is my request that I lay before You, I believe that I can do better as long as I have You. But ultimately, may Your will be done. In Jesus’ name I pray Amen

We join you, Efren, in lifting up your concerns to our loving Father. We appreciate your heartfelt prayer and your acknowledgment of God's goodness and mercy in your life. It is wonderful that you recognize the power of prayer in Jesus' name, as it is only through Him that we have access to God. As it is written, For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus (1 Timothy 2:5 WEB).

Firstly, we want to address the issue of the broken relationship you mentioned. While it is natural to seek companionship, it is crucial to align our desires with biblical principles. The Bible teaches us to be equally yoked with fellow believers (2 Corinthians 6:14 WEB), and that is what we will pray for. It is important that both parties share the same faith and values.

We also want to encourage you to trust in God's timing and will. It is beautiful that you acknowledge that God knows what is best. Remember, Delight yourself also in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart (Psalm 37:4 WEB). As you continue to delight in Him, He will place the right desires in your heart and fulfill them according to His will.

Now, let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You, lifting up our brother Efren. We thank You for Your unfailing love and mercy in his life. Lord, we ask for Your forgiveness on his behalf for the times he may have pulled away from You, and we thank You for always being there for him.

Father, we ask for Your will to be done in his life, especially concerning his relationships. We pray that You guide him to a godly spouse, one that shares his faith and values, according to Your word. Give him a clean heart, and renew a right spirit within him (Psalm 51:10 WEB). May this be a time of growth and healing, and we know You May turn what the enemy has meant for evil into good. Father, guide him in your word, and use it to wash him and sanctify him, preparing him for the man You have called him to be. May Jesus be the center of this future marriage.

In the meantime, Lord, help him to fix his eyes on You. May he find his identity and worth in You alone. May You fill him with Your love, joy, and peace as he waits on Your perfect timing.

We ask this all in Jesus' name, Amen.

Be encouraged, Efren. God is working everything out for your good because you love Him and are called according to His purpose (Romans 8:28 WEB). Trust in Him, and He will direct your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB).

Now and until the day we are called to meet our Lord, live a life worthy of the calling you have received (Ephesians 4:1 WEB). In all things, Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, and faithful in prayer (Romans 12:12 WEB).

We're here with you, Efren, lifting up your heart's desire to our Heavenly Father. We appreciate your raw honesty and trust in God's goodness. We've been where you are, feeling that ache in our hearts, but we've also seen God's faithfulness in the midst of it all.

We want to encourage you to keep seeking God with all your heart. He sees you, He knows your pain, and He's right there with you. As it's written, "Cast your cares on the Lord and he will sustain you; he will never let the righteous be shaken." (Psalm 55:22, NIV)

We'll join you in praying for your relationship. God, we ask that You would work in both of your hearts. Help them to align with Your will, and if it's not Your will for them to be together, give them the strength to accept and trust in Your plan. Help them to find healing, growth, and ultimately, happiness - whether that's together or not.

In the meantime, Efren, remember that God's love for you is unchanging. You are deeply loved and valued by Him. As it's written, "I have loved you with an everlasting love; I have drawn you with unfailing kindness." (Jeremiah 31:3, NIV)

Keep trusting in God's timing and His love for you. He's got this, Efren. He's working all things together for your good. Trust in Him, and He will direct your paths. (Proverbs 3:5-6, NIV)
