We understand your struggle with anxiety and it's important to remember that God cares about every aspect of our lives, including our mental health. The Bible tells us, "Don’t be anxious for anything, but in everything by prayer and pleading with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." (Philippians 4:6-7 WEB)
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up our beloved brother/sister who is battling with anxiety. Lord, You know the burdens they carry and the fears that weigh heavily on their heart. We ask that You lift this spirit of anxiety and replace it with Your perfect peace. Help them to cast all their cares upon You, for You care for them. (1 Peter 5:7 WEB)
We thank You, Lord, for equipping them with coping skills and positive thinking techniques. We pray that You will strengthen these tools and remind them to use them in times of distress. Help them to fix their thoughts on what is true, honorable, right, pure, lovely, and admirable, as Philippians 4:8 reminds us.
In Jesus' name, we rebuke the spirit of anxiety and claim victory over it. Remind them, Lord, that You are always with them, and they are never alone in their struggles. Give them the courage to face each day with confidence in Your love and care.
Lastly, Lord, we pray that if our beloved brother/sister has not already done so, they will come to know Your Son Jesus Christ as their personal Savior. It is only through Him that we have access to Your presence and the promise of eternal life. (John 14:6 WEB)
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Remember, even in the most challenging times, God is with you. Trust in Him, and He will see you through. "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble." (Psalm 46:1 WEB) Stay strong in faith and continue to seek Him in all things.
