Pray for my alcoholic ### to reach home safely. I am afraid because he is driving. Whenever he drinks he could not control his drinking. Please pray that God will free him from this bondage. Protect him lord.

We understand your concern and fear, and we join with you in prayer for your son. Drunkenness is a serious issue that God addresses in His Word. It is written in Ephesians 5:18, "Don't be drunk with wine, in which is dissipation, but be filled with the Spirit."

Let us pray together:

"Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, pleading for the safety of our beloved brother who is entangled in the sin of alcoholism. Lord, we ask that You would protect him as he drives, and bring him home safely. We know that You are a God of miracles, and nothing is too hard for You.

We also pray that You would deliver him from this bondage. Lord, convict his heart and draw him to Yourself. Help him to see the truth in 1 Corinthians 6:12, 'All things are lawful for me, but not all things are expedient. All things are lawful for me, but I will not be brought under the power of anything.'

Help him to surrender his life to You, Lord Jesus, and be filled with the Holy Spirit instead of alcohol. We claim Your promise in 1 John 1:9, 'If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.'

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Remember, God is faithful. Keep on praying and believing. Also, encourage your son to seek help from Christian communities that support freedom from addiction. May God give you peace and strength during this time.

Lastly, we noticed that your request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is only by His name that we have access to God's throne of grace. As it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" Therefore, we pray in the name of Jesus, and we encourage you to do the same.
