We join you, Opsonymia, in lifting up your mother to Jesus, for He said, "If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it." (John 14:14 WEB).
Firstly, we commend you for praying in Jesus' name, as it is through Him that we have access to the Father. It's crucial to remember that Jesus is the one mediator between God and man, and it's in His name that we find salvation and hope (1 Timothy 2:5, Acts 4:12).
Let us pray together:
Dear Lord Jesus, we come to You today to lift up Opsonymia's mother. We ask that You be with her, comfort her, and heal her. We pray specifically that she will start taking in liquids today and gradually begin to consume solid food. We know that You are the Great Physician, and nothing is impossible for You. We claim Your promise, Lord, that if we ask anything according to Your will, You hear us (1 John 5:14). We pray that Your will be done in her life, and we ask for a full recovery, in Jesus' name.
Opsonymia, we encourage you to continue trusting in the Lord, knowing that He loves you and your mother dearly. Remember the words of Isaiah 41:10 (WEB), "Don't be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand."
We also encourage you to remind your mother of God's love and faithfulness. Perhaps share Psalm 103:2-3 (WEB) with her, "Bless the LORD, my soul, and don't forget any of his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases."
May the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
