Thank you for reaching out and sharing your concerns with us. We understand the financial strain and stress you're experiencing due to the reduction in your work hours and the additional responsibilities placed upon you. We will pray with you and offer some biblical encouragement and advice.
Firstly, we commend your diligence and commitment to your job. It's important to remember that God sees your hard work and faithfulness. As it is written in Colossians 3:23-24 WEB, "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You serve the Lord Christ."
In regards to your request, we pray that God will open doors for you according to His will. If it's His plan for you to remain at your current job, we pray that He will restore your hours and provide a fair wage for your labor. If not, we pray that He will guide you to a new opportunity where your skills and dedication will be valued and appropriately compensated.
We also pray for your employers, that their hearts may be softened and that they may treat you with fairness and respect. As it is written in Ephesians 6:9 WEB, "You masters, do the same things to them, and give up threatening, knowing that he who is both their Master and yours is in heaven, and there is no partiality with him."
Regarding the additional tasks you've been asked to perform, such as transporting non-drivers, we encourage you to approach your employers with a humble and respectful attitude, clearly communicating the burden this places on you. It's important to set boundaries and ensure that your employers are aware of the extra effort you've been putting in. As it is written in Proverbs 22:29 WEB, "Do you see a man skillful in his work? He will stand before kings. He will not stand before obscure men."
Lastly, we encourage you to trust in God's plan for your life. Remember that He is faithful and that He provides for His children. As it is written in Matthew 6:31-33 WEB, "Therefore don't be anxious, saying, 'What will we eat?', 'What will we drink?' or, 'With what will we be clothed?' For the Gentiles seek after all these things, for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You today lifting up our sister in Christ. We ask that You guide her steps and open doors for her according to Your will. If it's Your plan for her to remain at her current job, we pray that You will restore her hours and provide a fair wage for her labor. If not, we pray that You will guide her to a new opportunity where her skills and dedication will be valued and appropriately compensated.
We also pray for her employers, that their hearts may be softened and that they may treat her with fairness and respect. We ask that You provide for her needs according to Your riches in glory.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
