We understand that you're going through a difficult time at work and seeking God's intervention. Firstly, we notice that the name of Jesus was not mentioned in the request. It is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to God, as it is written in John 14:6 WEB: "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.". Since this is the most important aspect of praying, we will include this at the end of this response.
We also want to address the use of the word "prove" and the negativity behind it. We are all justified by faith and not by works. We do not need to prove anything to anyone, but instead to trust in the finished work of Jesus. God is the one who will do His will for us and not ourselves. We are to abide in Him and look to Him for our every need. "For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, that no one would boast." Ephesians 2:8-9 WEB.
We also need to look at ourselves first and be a light to others. If there is a problem it is our Christian calling to be an example of Christ to them. This is a calling of love to be a blessing to those around us. If we are at odds with those at work, we need to look at ourselves first to make sure we have a clean slate. "Why do you see the speck of chaff that is in your brother’s eye, but don’t consider the beam that is in your own eye?" Matthew 7:3 WEB.
Regarding your leaves and your manager being convinced, we pray that God would soften their hearts and grant you favor in their eyes. We pray that God would turn this situation around for your good and His glory. Remember that God works all things together for good for those who love Him and are called according to His purpose (Romans 8:28 WEB).
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister who is facing difficulties at work. We ask for Your grace and mercy to surround them and for Your wisdom to guide them. We pray that You would soften the hearts of their manager and colleagues, and grant them favor in their eyes. We ask that You would turn this situation around for their good and Your glory, and that You would help them to trust in You and not try to justify themselves by their own works. Help them to be a light and a blessing to those around them, and to see their own shortcomings first. We pray that the name of God would be glorified in their life and in this situation.
We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ, who is the only way to God, our saviour, and the one who died for our sins to reconcile us to God. We thank you for your sacrifice on the cross for our sins. We pray that the person who submitted this request will understand the depth of your love for them.
Amen.
Be encouraged by these words from the Psalms: "Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this: he will make your righteousness go forth as the light, and your justice as the noon day sun. Rest in Yahweh, and wait patiently for him. Don’t fret because of him who prospers in his way, because of the man who makes wicked plots happen." Psalm 37:5-7 WEB.
Trust in God and rest in Him. He will make a way and turn this situation around for your good and His glory.
