We are here to intercede for you in prayer, and we appreciate your honesty in your request. Firstly, we want to remind you that God is always willing to hear your prayers. He says in Jeremiah 29:12, WEB: "Then you shall call on me, and you shall come and pray to me, and I will listen to you."
However, we want to ensure that you are directing your prayers to God through Jesus Christ, as Jesus himself taught in John 14:6, WEB: "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." It is only in his name that we have access to God the Father, and it is only by believing in his name that we can be saved Acts 4:12, WEB: "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
If you have not yet believed in Jesus Christ and accepted him as your Lord and Savior, we encourage you to do so today. Romans 10:9, WEB: "that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."
Now, let us pray for you:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this dear soul who has reached out to us for prayer. Lord, you know their every need, every struggle, and every concern. We pray that you would reveal yourself to them in a powerful way, that they would come to know you personally through faith in your Son, Jesus Christ.
We pray for your guidance, protection, and provision in their life. Give them the strength to overcome any challenges they may be facing, and help them to live a life that honors and glorifies you.
If they are already a believer, we pray that you would draw them closer to you, that they would grow in their faith and become more like Jesus every day. If they have not yet believed, we pray that today would be the day of salvation. Open their eyes to see the truth of the gospel, and draw them to yourself.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
