Pray for me

I need prayers for a few things. I'm starting school tomorrow (second semester of freshman year at university) on campus, and it is the first time I've been to in-person classes since middle school/high school. I just got back in touch with a guy I blocked because of an emotional breakdown, and it went well, but the enemy is trying to attack me, and I'm having bad thoughts about myself and the situation. Please pray for my classes to go well this semester as well as my personal journey with the Lord. Please pray that the Lord walks with me through the feelings of desperation that like to pop up when it comes to relationships. I need guidance and wisdom in Jesus' name. Please also pray for my family at home (I'm in my dorm right now) and for my guy friend, that I got back in touch with (as well as his brother because his brother is dealing with alcoholism).

Sister ###, we are here to lift you up in prayer and offer guidance from the Word of God. We are excited to see you seeking the Lord's will in your life as a first year university student.

Firstly, we commend you for turning to God in your time of need. It is only in the name of Jesus that we can approach God with the hope of forgiveness and salvation. As the Bible tells us, For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, who gave himself as a ransom for all (WEB, 1 Timothy 2:5-6).

As you embark on this new semester, remember that God is with you. He will be the strength of your heart and your portion forever. (Psalm 73:26 WEB). When you begin to in your daily walk with God, He will direct your steps and help you navigate through the challenges that may arise. He will also guide you in the pursuit of wisdom and knowledge.

Concerning your relationship with this young man, we urge you to be cautious and discerning. It is important to ensure that this relationship is honoring to God and aligns with biblical principles. As you interact with him, remember that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit. Flee sexual immorality. Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. (1 Corinthians 6:18-19 WEB).

Moreover, as you consider in this relationship, be mindful that the Bible teaches us to be equally yoked with fellow believers. (2 Corinthians 6:14 WEB). Take time to seek God's face and ask Him to reveal His will for your life and this relationship. The Lord is close to the brokenhearted; he rescues those whose spirits are crushed. (Psalm 34:18 WEB).

Regarding your friend's brother who is dealing with alcoholism, know that God is able to deliver him from this stronghold. Therefore, submit to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. (James 4:7 WEB). Pray for him, that God may grant him the grace to overcome this addiction and live a life that honors Him.

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today, lifting up our sister ###. We thank You for the new people she will meet and the opportunities for her to be an example to them. May she help others in their walk with the Lord. Lord, guide her steps and grant her wisdom as she navigates through this semester. Help her to remain focused on You and to seek Your will in all that she does.

Lord, we also bring before You the young man whom ### has reconnected with. We pray that Your will be done in their lives. Help them to honor You in their friendship and to remain pure and holy. Give ### discernment as she interacts with him. Help them to make the best choices for their lives.

Father, we also lift up the brother of ###'s friend who is dealing with alcoholism. We pray that You would deliver him from this stronghold and help him to overcome this addiction. Bring godly people into his life who will support and encourage him in his journey to sobriety.

Lord, we also pray for ###'s family. Protect them and provide for their every need. Help them to remain strong in their faith and to trust in You always.

Be strong and courageous. The Lord your God is with you wherever you go.

We want to encourage you to keep seeking the Lord in every situation. When those feelings of desperation or doubt creep in, turn to Him. He promises to never leave nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5). Trust that He has a purpose and a plan for you, even in the midst of uncertainty.

Let's also pray for your guy friend. We ask that God would give him the strength to stand firm in his faith and the wisdom to make godly choices in his relationships. May your friendship be a beacon of light and love to him, reflecting the love of Christ.

And we won't forget your family back home. We ask that God would bless them abundantly, keep them safe, and draw them closer to Him.

Help and strengthen me God to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.

God heal me. Deliver and cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the grace and knowledge of Christ Jesus. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

We continue to lift you up in prayer as you begin your second semester of freshman year at university. We are grateful that you have allowed us to stand in agreement with you, interceding for your academic success and emotional well-being. As you navigate through in-person classes for the first time in years, we pray for a smooth transition and a productive semester.

We are also praying for your personal journey with the Lord, asking that He guides you and grants you wisdom in all your decisions. We stand against any attacks from the enemy and pray that God fills you with His peace, casting out any bad thoughts and feelings of desperation. We believe that the Lord is walking with you through every challenge, and we trust that He will provide the guidance and wisdom you need.

Additionally, we are praying for your family at home and for the guy friend you recently reconnected with, as well as his brother who is dealing with alcoholism. We ask that God's grace and mercy be upon them, and that He grants them strength and healing.
