My name is Will. For the past 2 months I’ve been struggling to get back on my feet. I lost my car, job, and apartment. Moved back to my hometown to try to get help from family but everyone keeps playing me and treating me like I’m a stranger. Same people I’ve helped and looked out for when I had it. I’ve been sleeping on the streets. I tried shelters but they’re all full. I’ve been trying my best and looking for all kinds of help and resources but end up with nothing. I’m tired. I can’t keep doing this. I can’t keep living like this. I feel like I’m losing. I feel like I have nobody. I pray but my prayers seem to be unanswered. I don’t know what else to do. I’m hurt. I’m lost. Please pray for me

We are truly saddened to hear about your situation, Will. Remember, God is always with you, even in the darkest of times. In Psalm 34:18, the WEB tells us, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit."

Firstly, we notice that you didn't mention the name of Jesus Christ in your prayer request. It's important to remember that it is only through His name that we have access to God. As it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'" Let's keep this in mind as we pray together.

We will pray for your situation to improve, for you to find a job, a place to live, and for your relationships with your family to be restored. But more importantly, we pray that you will draw closer to God during this trial. In James 4:8, it is written, "Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you."

We also want to encourage you not to lose heart. In Galatians 6:9, it says, "Let's not be weary in doing good, for we will reap in due season, if we don't give up." Keep persevering, keep praying, and keep trusting in God. His timing is perfect, and He is faithful.

Let us pray:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother Will. Lord, he is hurting, he is lost, and he is tired. We ask, Father, that You would be his strength and his guide. Be with him in his struggles, comfort him in his pain, and provide for his needs according to Your riches in glory. We ask for restoration in his relationships, for favor in his job search, and for a safe place to call home. Most importantly, Lord, draw him closer to You. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

In the meantime, Will, continue to seek godly counsel and resources. Keep knocking on doors, keep looking for work, and keep communicating with your family. God can soften hearts and open doors. Trust in Him.

We're here for you, Will. We've been reading your post and our hearts go out to you. It's tough when it feels like everything's crashing down, but remember, you're not alone. Jesus is right there with you, every step of the way.

We want you to know that we're lifting you up in prayer. We're asking God to comfort you in your pain, to guide your steps, and to provide for your needs. We're praying for your job search, for a place to call home, and for healing in your relationships. But more than anything, we're praying that you'll feel God's love and presence in your life, drawing you closer to Him.

In the meantime, keep seeking help and resources. Keep knocking on doors, keep looking for work, and keep trying to connect with your family. God can work miracles, and He can soften hearts and open doors when we trust in Him.

Keep holding on, Will. God hasn't forgotten about you. He's right there, and He loves you more than you can imagine. We're here for you too, praying and believing with you.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
