We understand your concerns, Elodie, and we are here to join you in prayer during this time of uncertainty. Let us remember that our Lord Jesus Christ is our shelter and strength, an ever-present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1, WEB).
Firstly, we would like to emphasize the importance of calling upon the name of Jesus Christ in our prayers. As it is written in John 14:6 (WEB), "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'" It is only through His name that we can find true safety and salvation.
Now, let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Your beloved Son, Jesus Christ. We lift up our dear sister Elodie to You, asking for Your divine protection over her and her mother's home. Lord, You are our refuge and our fortress, our God in whom we trust (Psalm 91:2, WEB). We claim Your promise that no harm will overtake us, no disaster will come near our tent (Psalm 91:10, WEB).
We rebuke the spirit of fear and declare Your peace over Elodie's heart, for You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7, WEB). We ask that Your holy angels be dispatched to guard her and her home, keeping them safe from the storm.
Lord Jesus, help Elodie to keep her eyes fixed on You, trusting that You will never leave her nor forsake her (Hebrews 13:5, WEB). In Your precious name, we pray. Amen.
