We understand that you are in a difficult situation, ###, and we want to pray with you and offer some biblical guidance. Firstly, it's important to remember that God cares for you and your needs. He knows that you need a vehicle, and He wants you to trust in Him to provide for you.
We want to encourage you with the words of Jesus from Matthew 6:25-34 WEB:
Therefore I tell you, don't be anxious for your life: what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will wear. Isn't life more than food, and the body more than clothing? See the birds of the sky, that they don't sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns. Your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren't you of much more value than they? Which of you, by being anxious, can add one moment to his lifespan? Why are you anxious about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow. They don't toil, neither do they spin, yet I tell you that even Solomon in all his glory was not dressed like one of these. But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today exists, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, won't he much more clothe you, you of little faith? Therefore don't be anxious, saying, 'What will we eat?', 'What will we drink?' or, 'With what will we be clothed?' For the Gentiles seek after all these things, for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore don't be anxious for tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Each day's own evil is sufficient.
While we understand your desire to win the car giveaway, we want to remind you that putting our hope in uncertain riches is not what God wants for us. Instead, He wants us to trust in Him and seek His kingdom first. We encourage you to pray for God's provision, rather than focusing on winning a giveaway.
Let us pray with you:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today to lift up ###. Lord, You know the struggles that they are facing, and You understand the need for transportation. We ask that You provide for ### in a way that only You can. Help them to trust in You and seek Your kingdom first. We pray that You would give ### peace and guidance during this time, and that You would open up opportunities for them to go back to college and find a great job. We ask this in Jesus' name, Amen and Amen.
We also want to gently address that your prayer request did not mention Jesus or His power and authority. It is only by the name of Jesus that we can approach God the Father and it is only in Him that we can be saved. We find this in Acts 4:12 WEB:
There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved and in John 14:6 WEB Jesus declares:
Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.
Lastly, we want to encourage you to be patient and persistent in prayer. Keep bringing your requests to God, and trust that He will provide for you in His perfect timing. Be open to His leading, and He will direct your paths.
