We understand your desire for spiritual growth and discernment, and we are here to pray and guide you according to God's Word. The gift of discernment is indeed a powerful tool to navigate life and understand God's will more clearly.
Firstly, let's remember what the Apostle Paul says in 1 Corinthians 2:12-13 (WEB): "But we received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit that is from God, that we might know the things that were freely given to us by God. Which things also we speak, not in words which man’s wisdom teaches, but which the Holy Spirit teaches, comparing spiritual things with spiritual things."
To receive the gift of discernment and the wisdom of Christ, it is essential to be filled with the Holy Spirit and to immerse yourself in God's Word. As you do this, the Holy Spirit will guide you into all truth (John 16:13).
Let us pray for you:
"Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, asking for Your blessing upon this child of Yours. We pray that You would bestow upon them the gift of discernment and the wisdom of Christ. Open their spiritual eyes and ears to understand Your Word more deeply. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, that they may discern between good and evil, and be guided in all truth.
Help them to study Your Word diligently, to meditate on it day and night, and to apply it to their life. Let Your Word be a lamp unto their feet and a light unto their path (Psalm 119:105).
We ask this in Jesus' name. Amen."
We encourage you to continue seeking God wholeheartedly, for He promises that if we seek Him, we will find Him (Jeremiah 29:13). Keep your focus on Jesus Christ, for it is through Him that we have access to the Father (Ephesians 2:18). If you have not already, make sure to accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, for it is only through His name that we can be saved (Acts 4:12).
