We are glad to join you in prayer, especially as you have requested it in Jesus' name. Meeting a spouse is a significant event in life, and it is commendable that you are seeking God's will in this matter. We pray that God will bring the right woman into your life, someone who aligns with His will and desires to serve Him alongside you.
Let us pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our brother who desires a godly spouse. We pray that You will guide him to a woman who fears You and walks in Your ways. In Proverbs 31:30 WEB, it says, "Charm is deceitful, and beauty is vain; but a woman who fears Yahweh, she shall be praised." We ask that You bring such a woman into his life, and that You make a way for them to get to know each other in purity and honesty.
We rebuke the modern practice of dating multiple people without commitment. Instead, we pray for a godly courtship that focuses on truly getting to know each other with the intention of marriage. As it is written in 1 Corinthians 13:4-7 WEB, "Love is patient and is kind; love doesn’t envy. Love doesn’t brag, is not proud, doesn’t behave itself inappropriately, doesn’t seek its own way, is not provoked, takes no account of evil; doesn’t rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things."
We also pray for a miracle in his employment situation. We ask that You open the right doors for him to find a good job that not only meets his needs but also allows him to use his gifts and talents for Your glory. In Philippians 4:19 WEB, it says, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." We claim this promise for our brother.
Lastly, we pray that he continues to trust in You, seeking Your will in all areas of his life. We pray for his faith to grow stronger and for him to experience the peace that comes from knowing You are in control.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to continue to trust God in all aspects of your life. Remain steadfast in prayer and the study of His word. We are reminded in 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 WEB, "Rejoice always. Pray without ceasing. In everything give thanks, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus toward you."
We will continue to keep you in our prayers.
