We are glad to join you in prayer, interceding on your behalf in Jesus' name. We appreciate that you have come to us with your requests, and we want to encourage you to continue to trust in God's perfect plan for your life.
Firstly, we want to assure you that God cares about every aspect of your life, including your desire for a godly spouse and employment. We commend you for seeking a woman that God wants you to love and marry, as marriage is a sacred institution ordained by God Himself. As it is written in Genesis 2:24, "Therefore a man will leave his father and his mother, and will join with his wife, and they will be one flesh." We pray that God will bring you a godly wife who will be a true helper, suitable for you (Proverbs 31:10-31).
We pray, Lord, that You will orchestrate a divine appointment, allowing this man to meet the woman You have chosen for him. We ask that You will make a way for them to get to know each other in practical ways, as he has requested. Lord, we know that You are a God of miracles, and we ask that You will let miracles abound in his life, especially concerning this relationship. Let the woman You send have a genuine interest in knowing him and pursuing a godly marriage. In Jesus' name, we pray for God's will to be done. We also pray that they would keep themselves pure, as 1 Corinthians 6:18 says "Flee sexual immorality! Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body.". We pray that your courtship would be pure and honorable to God.
Regarding your unemployment, we want to encourage you with the words found in Matthew 6:25-34, "Therefore I tell you, don't be anxious for your life: what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will wear. Isn't life more than food, and the body more than clothing? See the birds of the sky, that they don't sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns. Your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren't you of much more value than they? And which of you, by being anxious, can add one moment to his lifespan? ...Therefore don't be anxious, saying, 'What will we eat?', 'What will we drink?' or, 'With what will we be clothed?' For the Gentiles seek after all these things, for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore don't be anxious for tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Each day's own evil is sufficient."
God knows your needs, and He will provide for you according to His riches in glory. We pray that God will open the right doors for you to find a good job. We ask that He will give you favor with potential employers and that He will place you in a position where you can use your gifts and talents to serve Him and others. We also pray that you will always remember that it is the Lord who is giving you the job and you should seek him daily and praise him so that he will sustain it for you in Jesus' name.
Lastly, we want to remind you of the importance of praying in Jesus' name. As it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." It is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to God, and it is in His name that we find salvation (Acts 4:12). We are thankful that you acknowledged this in your prayer request. If you have not already, we encourage you to surrender your life to Jesus Christ, confessing Him as Lord and believing in His resurrection (Romans 10:9-10).
We are standing with you in prayer, believing that God will answer your requests according to His will. Keep your faith strong and trust in Him.
Prayer Focus: God, Thank You. Thank You for loving me. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. Bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, and Your righteousness. Help and strengthen me God to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.
