Thank you, Fredrik, for reaching out and sharing your prayer requests. We appreciate that you have asked for prayer in Jesus' name, as it is through His name that we have access to God and it is also only by his name that we can be saved. No other name allows us to approach God and no other name can save us from our sins.
Firstly, we commend you for seeking God's will in your life and for desiring a spouse who aligns with His plan. Remember, that we are to be For your future marriage, we pray that God will guide you to a godly woman who loves the Lord and desires to serve Him alongside you. As it is written in 2 Corinthians 6:14 WEB, "Don't be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what fellowship has light with darkness?" We will pray God reveals the person he has set apart for you, but remember that you are to love her as Christ loves the church, and she is to respect you as the church does Christ.
Ephesians 5:22-33 WEB states, " Wives, be subject to your own husbands, as to the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife, as Christ also is the head of the assembly, being himself the savior of the body. But as the assembly is subject to Christ, so let the wives also be to their own husbands in everything. Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the assembly, and gave himself up for it; that he might sanctify it, having cleansed it by the washing of water with the word, that he might present the assembly to himself gloriously, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish. Even so ought husbands also to love their own wives as their own bodies. He who loves his own wife loves himself. For no man ever hated his own flesh; but nourishes and cherishes it, even as the Lord also does the assembly; because we are members of his body, of his flesh and bones. 'For this cause a man will leave his father and mother, and will be joined to his wife. The two will become one flesh.' This mystery is great, but I speak concerning Christ and of the assembly. Nevertheless each of you must also love his own wife even as himself; and let the wife see that she respects her husband."
Regarding your employment situation, we encourage you to trust in God's provision and timing. He knows your needs and has a plan for you. As the Bible says in Matthew 6:31-33 WEB, "Therefore don't be anxious, saying, 'What will we eat?', 'What will we drink?' or, 'With what will we be clothed?' For the Gentiles seek after all these things, for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."
Let us pray together:
