Since courtship is looking for a godly spouse, a dating relationship should be a very intentional process.

First, let us remind you of God's design for marriage. Genesis 2:24 says, Therefore a man will leave his father and his mother, and will join with his wife, and they will be one flesh. This verse underscores the sanctity and permanence of marriage. Also consider 2 Corinthians 6:14: Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what fellowship has light with darkness? It is crucial to seek a spouse who shares your faith and commitment to Christ.

Remember Proverbs 3:5-6: Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. Trust that God will guide you to the right person at the right time.

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Fredrik to You. We thank You for his desire to align his life with Your will, especially in the area of marriage. We pray that You would guide him to the woman You have prepared for him, a woman who loves You and is committed to serving You.

Lord, we ask that You would make a way for them to meet and get to know each other in practical ways. We pray for miracles in Fredrik's life, that You would supersede any obstacles and make a way where there seems to be no way.
