Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our dear brother Carol who is struggling with an addiction to television. Lord, we ask for Your divine intervention to help Carol break free from this habit that is hindering his ability to sleep early and wake up refreshed in the morning. Your Word says in Philippians 4:13, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." We pray that Carol will find strength in You to overcome this addiction.
Lord, grant Carol the discipline and self-control to turn off the TV and seek rest. Help him to find peace and fulfillment in Your presence rather than in front of a screen. As it is written in Psalm 127:2, "It is in vain that you rise up early and go late to rest, eating the bread of anxious toil; for He gives to His beloved sleep." May Carol experience the restful sleep that You promise to Your beloved.
We ask that You fill Carol's heart with a desire to seek You first, as Matthew 6:33 instructs, "But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you." May he find joy and satisfaction in spending time with You, and may this new focus help him to break free from his TV addiction.
In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.
