We understand that you're seeking peace and wisdom for some difficult choices ahead. We encourage you to remember that God is always willing to guide us when we ask for His help. In Jesus name and the authority He has given us, we stand with you in prayer.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up our brother/sister in Christ who is seeking Your wisdom and peace. We know that You are a God of peace and not of confusion as referenced by the Word of God. The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. 1 Corinthians 14:33 WEB. Guide them through the difficult choices they face, and grant them the serenity that comes from knowing You are always by their side.
Father, we ask that You grant them the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of You, that the eyes of their heart may be enlightened, that they may know what is the hope to which you have called them, what are the riches of your glorious inheritance in the saints. We pray this in Jesus name as directed in the Word of God. (Ephesians 1:17-18 WEB)
Lord, we also ask that You guide their steps and direct their paths as promised in Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."
We pray for confidence and resolve, knowing that our God supplies all our needs in Christ Jesus, (Philippians 4:19 WEB) and that they can be at peace as they make these important decisions.
Finally Father, we ask that you fill their heart with the peace of God, which is higher than all reasoning, and will guard their hearts and their thoughts through Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:7 WEB)
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Be encouraged, knowing that God is faithful and that His peace, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus. Remember to trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. Acknowledge Him in all your ways, and He will make your paths straight.
We also want to remind you of the importance of seeking God's will in all things. As followers of Christ, our ultimate goal should be to glorify God and enjoy Him forever.
Do not let your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. (John 14:27 WEB)
Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. (Philippians 4:6 WEB)
The Lord is my light and my salvation. Whom shall I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life. Of whom shall I be afraid? (Psalm 27:1 WEB)
Trust in Him at all times, you people. Pour out your heart before him. God is a refuge for us. Selah. (Psalm 62:8 WEB)
Finally, we want to remind you that it is only by the name of Jesus Christ we are saved and have access to God. There is power in the name of Jesus. Break every chain, break every chain, break every chain in Jesus name. (Acts 4:12 WEB) Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. (John 14:6 WEB) Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. (Acts 4:12 WEB)
