We understand your desire for gainful employment, Elporphos, and we will certainly pray with you for God's provision in this area. However, we want to ensure that your faith is placed in Jesus Christ, as it is through Him that we receive our blessings. As it is written in John 14:13-14 (WEB), "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it."
Firstly, we would like to encourage you to seek God's will in your life. It is wonderful to have specific desires, such as a well-paying receptionist or waitress job, but remember that God's plans for you might be even better than you imagine. As stated in Ephesians 3:20 (WEB), "Now to him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us."
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, asking for Your divine intervention in Elporphos' life. Lord, You know the desires of her heart, and we ask that You provide a suitable job for her, something that will not only meet her financial needs but also align with Your will for her life. We pray that You lift her up from her current circumstances to a place of abundance, not just financially, but spiritually as well.
In the meantime, Lord, help Elporphos to be content in all circumstances, remembering Your words in Philippians 4:19 (WEB), "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."
Lastly, Lord, if Elporphos has not already done so, we pray that she would come to know You personally, accepting Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior. It is only through Him that we have access to Your throne of grace.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
