Pray for me to get into Graduate School

After leaving law school, I have been struggling to find my path. I just applied for Graduate school at my alma mater. Please please pray for me that I get in, it’s so competitive and with my poor law school grades, I don’t know if they’ll take me. I want this more than anything though. I want to make myself and my family proud.

We understand your desire to find your path and make yourself and your family proud, ###. Let us pray for you and offer some biblical encouragement as you seek to enter graduate school.

Firstly, we remind you that God has a plan and purpose for your life, as it is written in Jeremiah 29:11, "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future." Trust that His plans for you are good and full of hope.

However, we want to encourage you to seek God's will above all else. In Proverbs 3:5-6, we are told, "Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will direct your paths." It is crucial to align your desires with God's will and trust that He will guide your steps.

As you await the decision from your alma mater, remember that God's grace is sufficient for you. In 2 Corinthians 12:9, the Lord told the Apostle Paul, "'My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.' Most gladly therefore I will rather glory in my weaknesses, that the power of Christ may rest on me." Your past academic performance does not define you or limit what God can do through you.

Let us pray for you:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today to lift up ### in prayer. Lord, we ask that You guide her steps and open the doors that align with Your will for her life. We pray that You grant her favor with the graduate school admissions committee and that they see her potential beyond her past academic performance.

Help ### to trust in You and Your plans for her life. Comfort her in any anxiety she may be feeling and remind her of Your unfailing love and grace. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lastly, ###, we noticed that your request did not mention the name of Jesus. We want to remind you that it is only through Him that we have access to God. As it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" If you have not already, we encourage you to put your trust in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior.

It's natural to feel uncertain about the future, but remember, God's got a plan for you, and it's a good one (Jeremiah 29:11). Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
