We are here with you in spirit, lifting your request to God our Father, and we appreciate that you have brought your petition in the mighty name of Jesus. It is by His name that we have access to the throne of God, and it is by His stripes that we are healed and saved. Let us pray:
Our Heavenly Father, we come before You today, lifting up our brother/sister who is in need of employment and financial freedom. We know that You are a loving and providing God, who cares for all our needs according to Your riches in glory by Christ Jesus.
Lord, we ask that You open the doors of opportunity for our brother/sister and guide him/her to the right job, one that not only meets his/her financial needs but also allows him/her to use the gifts and talents You have given him/her. Remind him/her that "whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You are serving the Lord Christ" as stated in Colossians 3:23-24 WEB.
While we wait for Your provision, Lord, help our brother/sister to rest in Your promises and trust in Your timeline. We are reminded of how you provided for the Israelites during the Exodus. In Exodus 16:17 WEB says Then the children of Israel did so, and gathered some more, some less. When they measured it by the omer, he who gathered much had nothing over, and he who gathered little had no lack. They gathered every man according to his eating. We pray that You will do the same for our brother/sister and will supernaturally sustain him/her during this trying time.
Remember friend, God is faithful, and He will never leave you nor forsake you. Stay strong in faith, for it is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. We would like to leave you with this reminder from the book of Matthew, “Seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore don't be anxious for tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Each day's own evil is sufficient.” Matthew 6:33-34 WEB.
Let us continue to trust in God and be thankful for even the smallest blessings he has given us. Remember, the Lord is our shepherd, and we shall not want.
Let us end by saying. Thank you Lord for your faithfulness and unconditional love. We ask all these things in Jesus name. Amen.
