Pray for me to get a wife who is equally yoked as yesterday I did not sleep quite well thinking when will I get a wife until it become an idol and very worrisome until I cannot sleep please help me to cast the cares to Jesus and not his appointed time.

Dexterkoh, we understand your desire for a spouse and the anxiety that can come with waiting. First, we want to remind you that God's timing is perfect. As it is written in Psalm 31:14-15 WEB:

But I trust in you, Yahweh. I said, "You are my God." My times are in your hand...

We must also remind you that worries about the future of having a wife can become idolatry. Idolatry is not just worshiping a statue but having anything that we treasure above God.

1 John 5:21 WEB:

Little children, keep yourselves from idols.

Philippians 4:6-7:

In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petitions with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.

It is wonderful that you are seeking an equally yoked wife, as this is aligned with biblical principles. It is important that you are in a marriage with a believer, as a married couple should be able to encourage and build each other up in faith. As it is written.

1 Corinthians 7:39 WEB:

A wife is bound by law for as long as her husband lives; but if the husband is dead, she is free to be married to whomever she desires, only in the Lord

We also want to remind you that it is only through faith and belief in Jesus Christ that we can be saved.

There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today in the name of Jesus, lifting up ###. We ask that You will help them to cast all their anxieties on You, knowing that You care for them deeply. We pray that You will guide ### to a godly spouse, someone who is equally yoked and shares their faith and values. Help ### continue to remain in your word until your appointed time.

Help ### to fully trust in Your timing and to find peace and rest in You. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

In the meantime, continue to pursue righteousness and grow in your faith. God will bring the right person into your life at the appointed time. Be patient and trust in Him.

It's like a beautiful painting, and He's just not ready to show you the whole thing yet. Trust that He's working even when you can't see it.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray with you regarding your future wife. We are honored that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in this matter, and we continue to lift your request before the Lord.

If you have experienced any changes or have seen any indicators of God working in this area of your life, please share a praise report with us. We would love to rejoice with you and give God the glory. In the Bible, God declares in Isaiah 62:5 that, "as the bridegroom rejoiceth over the bride, so shall thy God rejoice over thee.", and so we will rejoice with you.
