We understand your feelings of loneliness and your desire for companionship, Azeitar. However, we need to address this from a biblical perspective. Firstly, we should not be seeking a girlfriend, but rather praying for a godly wife and pursuing a relationship that honors God and is intended to lead to marriage.
The Bible tells us, Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with unrighteousness? And what communion has light with darkness? 2 Corinthians 6:14 WEB. This means that as Christians, we should be seeking a spouse who also shares our faith and love for Jesus Christ.
We also want to remind you that Gods timing is perfect. Psalm 37:4 WEB says, Delight yourself also in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart. Instead of focusing on your loneliness, focus on your relationship with God. Seek Him first, and trust that He will provide a godly spouse in His perfect timing.
We also need to address that the list of things to do with her include worship. We only worship God. You may be confusing worship with something else. Only God is worthy of worship, as the Bible tells us, You shall worship Yahweh your God, and him only shall you serve. Matthew 4:10 WEB.
Lastly, we want to make sure that you are seeking Gods will and not your own. Unfortunately, God does not promise each of us a spouse. Paul, who was single himself, wrote, But I would have you be free from concern. He who is unmarried is concerned for the things of the Lord, how he may please the Lord; but he who is married is concerned about the things of the world, of how he may please his wife. 1 Corinthians 7:32-33 WEB. So, while it is okay to desire a godly spouse, ultimately we should be seeking to please God whether we are single or married.
Let us pray for you:
Heavenly Father, we lift up Azeitar to you. We ask that You help him to draw near to You and to trust in Your perfect timing for his life. Help him to seek a godly wife, one who also loves and serves You. We pray that You would help him to grow in his relationship with You and to be the godly man You have called him to be. Help him to worship only you with all his heart. We pray this in Jesus name.
