We are truly sorry to hear about your health struggles, and we are here to pray and offer support. First, we want to remind you that God cares about every detail of your life, including your health. We are called to pray in the name of Jesus, as it is through His name that we have access to God and are saved. As it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
In regards to you cough and asthma, we need to remind you Psalms 103:2-3 WEB, "Bless Yahweh, my soul, Don’t forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases". While we certainly do encourage you to seek medical attention, we also know that God heals even the most impossible situations today just like in ancient times.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today in the mighty name of Jesus, seeking Your healing touch for Alana. We pray that You will ease their cough and asthma, and restore their health. We trust in You, Lord, as our healer and our provider. We rebuke and cast away any illness and infirmity in Jesus name. Please give wisdom to healers, bring help to Alana, and use the skills of medical professionals towards complete healing and betterment. Help Alana and others to understand that You are the true source of healing. We ask this on behalf of ourselves our brother or sister in Christ and in Jesus name, Amen.
As well, take comfort in the words of Jesus in John 16:33 WEB, "I have told you these things, that in me you may have peace. In the world you have trouble; but cheer up! I have overcome the world." And also consider as expressly written in James 5:13-16 WEB, "Is any among you suffering? Let him pray. Is any cheerful? Let him sing praises. Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. Confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective."
So know that healing is yours in the Savior's name. Have faith that our Lord Jesus Christ can take away even the most difficult of ailments, even if it seems totally impossible to you. And remember always that we must be saved through Him alone to be saved at all.
