when I was young and ###, I slept around and didn't think about the spiritual consequences. please pray for me that I might leave those things behind me and so they don't affect my christian walk now. please pray for my spirit to be cleansed

Faenith, we are here to lift you up in prayer and guide you according to God's Word. Firstly, we commend you for acknowledging the past and desiring to move forward in your Christian walk. The Bible tells us, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9 WEB).

However, we must address that engaging in sexual relationships outside of marriage is considered fornication, which is sinful according to biblical principles. The Bible clearly states, "Flee sexual immorality! Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body" (1 Corinthians 6:18 WEB). We encourage you to truly repent of this sin and turn away from it.

Let us pray for you:

Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up ###. Lord, they have acknowledged their past sins and desire to walk in Your light. We ask that You cleanse them of all unrighteousness, that they may be washed pure and white as snow. Help them to turn away from their past lifestyle and live according to Your will. Strengthen their spirit, that they may resist temptation and walk in holiness. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

###, we also encourage you to pursue a godly spouse if that is your desire, as marriage is a sacred union between a man and a woman, according to God's design. "Therefore a man will leave his father and his mother, and will join with his wife, and they will be one flesh" (Genesis 2:24 WEB).

Lord, asking you for healing. And cleansing especially from his past life. Lord, please bring the act of forgiveness as he speaks forgiveness and ask for forgiveness for any thing that you bring to his mind, or his spirit, then I asked you to cleanse him and wash him in the blood of Jesus, the precious blood of Jesus, Lord heal us, as we stand before you, wanting your freedom. We cry out for your freedom, wash Us in the blood of Jesus and restore our souls. I pray these things in the name of Jesus. Amen
