Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up our dear brother Virkanax to you. Lord, we acknowledge that he is struggling with lustful thoughts and the guilt of his past actions. We ask for your forgiveness and mercy to wash over him, cleansing him from all unrighteousness.
Your Word reminds us in 1 Corinthians 6:18, "Flee from sexual immorality. Every other sin a person commits is outside the body, but the sexually immoral person sins against his own body." Lord, we pray that you would grant Virkanax the strength and determination to flee from these thoughts and temptations. Help him to resist the enemy's attacks and to turn his focus towards you.
We also pray for healing and restoration in his mind and heart. Replace his thoughts of guilt and shame with your love and forgiveness. Fill him with your Holy Spirit, who empowers us to overcome the desires of the flesh. Help him to renew his mind daily through the reading and meditation of your Word.
Lord, we know that you are able to deliver us from all bondage and set us free. We claim the promise in 2 Corinthians 5:17 that says, "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come." We pray that Virkanax would experience the transforming power of your grace in his life.
Surround him with a community of believers who can support and encourage him in his journey towards purity. Give him the courage to seek accountability and guidance from trusted individuals who can help him navigate through these challenges.
We thank you, Lord, for your faithfulness and your unfailing love. We trust that you will answer this prayer according to your perfect will. May Virkanax experience freedom from these sexual thoughts and find true peace and joy in you.

If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect.
