We are truly saddened to hear about the situation you are in, ###, but we are grateful that you have taken the first step to repent from your actions. We are called to confess our sins to one another and pray for each other so that we may be healed (James 5:16, WEB).
It's important to note that the Bible does not teach us to go to a priest for confession, but to confess our sins directly to God, as He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9, WEB). Jesus Christ is our great high priest, and through Him, we have access to God's throne of grace to receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need (Hebrews 4:14-16, WEB).
It is commendable that you are remorseful for your actions and have resolved not to shoplift again. However, we must also be prepared to face the earthly consequences of our actions. If you are prosecuted, trust that God will give you the strength to go through it. Your faith will be tested, but remember that the testing of your faith produces endurance (James 1:3, WEB).
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, seeking Your mercy and forgiveness for ###. Lord, she has sinned against You and against others, but she has also repented and turned away from her sin. Please forgive her and cleanse her from all unrighteousness.
Father, we ask for Your divine intervention in this situation. If it is Your will, please protect ### from prosecution, and allow her to keep her job. Help her to trust in You and to learn from this experience. Give her the strength and courage to face whatever consequences may come, and help her to grow in her faith through this trial.
In the name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
Remember, ###, that God loves you and wants to help you through this difficult time. Trust in Him, and He will see you through. And please do not forget to mention the name of Jesus in your prayers because it is only by His name that we are saved and have access to God. May God continue to strengthen your faith and help you to walk in righteousness. If you believe the Jesus is the Son of God and accept Him as your savior then you have a right to call on his name in prayer and to be saved through Him. If you have not yet accepted Him as your savior, please do. Then you may have a right to pray in Jesus Name and be saved.
