Let us stand in prayer with you and as one in the Body of Christ in these trying times, remember that our help comes from the Lord.
Forgive us if this is presumptive, but we are instructed in Philippians 4:6 WEB "In nothing be anxious, but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God."
Your petition is that your job not be lost and numbers miraculously increase. Thank you for mentioning Jesus Christ at the end of your request. We all should be aware that Jesus is the only mediator between us and the Father, which is who we are praying to. Therefore, there is nothing special about the power of Mary or any other false person that is worshiped, but everything about Jesus Christ and the name of Jesus is powerful, God, and has authority in heaven. It is the only way to eternal life and the only way our prayers will be heard by God.
Matthew 7:7-8, WEB
“Ask, and it will be given to you. Seek, and you will find. Knock, and it will be opened for you. For everyone who asks receives. He who seeks finds. To him who knocks it will be opened.”
We will come with you to the throne of Grace, interceding on your behalf to God that:
His sovereign will is for you and your husband to have more than enough financial resources. He controls the wealth and has grace for his children. Remember our God owns it all and all creation belongs to him. As stated in:
Psalm 50:10 WEB every animal of the forest is mine, and the livestock on a thousand hills.
If we honestly seek him he will take care of us. Keep your hearts pure and intentions aligned with his will in seeking first his kingdom and righteousness, not just financial abundance. We all should remember God’s promises. Jesus said to his disciples in Luke 12:29-31
Do not seek what you will eat or what you will drink; neither be anxious. For the Gentiles seek after all these things, and your Father knows that you need them. But seek God's Kingdom, and all these things will be added to you.
His will, in Jesus name is what we are after in this agreement to pray. Amen
He has promised to supply every need and we will make this claim before God. We trust he will take care of us even if we are unsure how he will come through on this job. Philippians 4:19 says that “my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.”
Knowing his will is paramount, if his plan is not this job then you will want to submit to it and we do not want to take this cup from you in praying against God’s will for your life. Yet, there is nothing wrong in asking that he take the cup away if you are obedient in his plan. Consider in
Luke 22:42 WEB, “Father, if you are willing, remove this cup from me. Nevertheless, not my will, but yours, be done.”
But do not allow bitterness to rule and your attitude about losing this job take your joy away if his will is otherwise. Consider
Colossians 3:15
And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful.
He does not allow trials without cause or without expected obedience in our faith. We should rejoice in our trials knowing that our faith and trials allow us to increase and produce endurance as stated in Romans 5:3 WEB
and not only this, but we also rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces perseverance;
There are trials in this world but we are under grace. Consider in Matthew 5:45
He causes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous.
Finally, remember how faithful God is in even the small areas and be encouraged to allow him to manage our trials and anxieties. Consider these encouragements from scripture:
Are not two sparrows sold for an assarion coin? Not one of them falls to the ground apart from your Father's will, but the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Therefore do not be afraid. You are of more value than many sparrows. Matthew 10:29-31, WEB
but he said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." Most gladly therefore I will rather glory in my weaknesses, that the power of Christ may rest on me. Therefore I take pleasure in weaknesses, in insults, in distresses, in persecutions, in difficulties, for Christ's sake; for when I am weak, then I am strong.
We rebuke any belief that God cannot take care of this situation. Yet it is his will, not ours and there is no way to rebuke or bind Satan that will keep God’s will from happening. We want God’s will first and foremost. Praying that you be encouraged, that numbers miraculously increase for you in this job if it is God’s will. Praying that the VP has a change of heart about you. Praying that the territory posted online and new position is used by God for good and in his sovereign plan. God will have his will be done and allow his purpose to unfold as he planned from the beginning. Praying you can discern this plan and come to joy in God’s sovereignty over your trials. In Jesus Christ’s name, the name above all names, we pray these things.
