I have bad dreams a lot too. Pray right before you go to bed, that the Lord may protect you from any evil trying to scare you in your sleep, and that you know they have absolutely no power in Jesusโ name.
Read these before bed:
Psalm 4:8
In peace I will lie down and sleep, for you alone, O LORD, will keep me safe.
Proverbs 3:24
When you lie down, you will not be afraid; when you lie down, your sleep will be sweet.
Psalm 3:5
I lay down and slept, yet I woke up in safety, for the LORD was watching over me.
Psalm 56:3
When I am afraid, I put my trust in you.
Psalm 23:1โ6
The LORD is my shepherd; I have all that I need. He lets me rest in green meadows; he leads me beside peaceful streams. He renews my strength. He guides me along right paths, bringing honor to his name. Even when I walk through the darkest valley, I will not be afraid, for you are close beside me. Your rod and your staff protect and comfort me. You prepare a feast for me in the presence of my enemies. You honor me by anointing my head with oil. My cup overflows with blessings. Surely your goodness and unfailing love will pursue me all the days of my life, and I will live in the house of the LORD forever.
Philippians 4:6โ7
Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
2 Timothy 1:7
For God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love, and self-discipline.
Psalm 91:4-6
He will cover you with his feathers. He will shelter you with his wings. His faithful promises are your armour and protection. Do not be afraid of the terrors of the night, nor the arrow that flies in the day. Do not dread the disease that stalks in darkness, nor the disaster that strikes at midday.
& Psalm 27!
God bless you brother or sister
