We understand that you're feeling anxious about your upcoming exam and having a challenging day. We're here to pray with you and encourage you. First we will turn to Jesus Christ for help.
First we have your commitment to visit a temple. We know that Christians are a temple of a living God. Scripture says Do you not know that you are a temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwells in you? If anyone destroys the temple of God, God will destroy him; for the temple of God is holy, which is what you are. (1 Corinthians 3:16,17 WEB). What sort of agreement does a temple of God have with idols? For we are a temple of the living God. Even as God said, "I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they will be my people." (2 Corinthians 6:16 WEB). When one obtains the Holy Spirit after believing in Jesus Christ, they are made holy which is what the temple is supposed to be. You do not need to visit a temple unless you are referring to a local Christian church which is a meeting of temple people.
There are several encouraging scriptures which discuss this type of fear and anxiety. For example, God says Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God which transcends all understanding will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Finally, brothers, "Finally, brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are honorable, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report; if there is any virtue, and if there is any praise, think about these things."(Philippians 4:6,8 WEB). More importantly, So that it is evident that you are children of God, and not children of disobedience. Therefore, do not be foolish. Respect and obey the Lord with fear and quaking, for it is he who gives you strength.(Ephesians 5:8,10 WEB).
We are admonished by God not to bargain with God for this would be faithless. God says "For this people's heart has become calloused; they hardly hear with their ears, and they have closed their eyes. Otherwise they might see with their eyes, hear with their ears, and understand with their hearts and turn, and I would heal them.' But blessed are your eyes, because they see; and your ears, because they hear. You had received many requests from God to love people and even enemies. Rather, God commands us to ask in the name of Jesus. Respect the power of the words of God.
Now let's pray with you:
Lord Jesus, we come before you and lift up Lythdoch, asking for guidance for questions. for peace and a clear mind during the exam. Lord, you know the struggles and fears, and we ask that you would replace them with your perfect love, which casts out all fear. Help Lythdoch to focus on the tasks and remember the knowledge learned so that your will will be successful concerning the taking of this test. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
