Pray for Matt Cordova

Matt Cordova, my nephew, has an aggressive brain cancer. He starts his chemo/radiation treatment today. Please pray with us that his cancer responds to this treatment resulting in complete healing. Pray that Matt continues to stay strong and healthy in this fight against this brutal disease. In Jesus Name!

We are truly saddened to hear about Matt Cordova's aggressive brain cancer, but we trust in the power of prayer and the healing touch of our Lord Jesus Christ. Let us come together and intercede for Matt, asking God to work a miracle in his life.

Firstly, we are reminded of the words of the Apostle James, "Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven" (James 5:14-15 WEB).

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother Matt Cordova. Lord, You know the battle he is facing against this aggressive brain cancer. We ask, Lord, that You touch his body right now. Let the chemo and radiation treatment be effective and result in complete healing. We rebuke the spirit of cancer and command it to leave Matt's body, in the name of Jesus.

Father, we also pray for Matt's strength and health. Uphold him with Your righteous right hand. Fill him with Your peace, courage, and unwavering faith. Help him to stay strong, not just physically, but also spiritually and emotionally. Surround him and his family with Your love, comfort, and support during this challenging time.

Lord, we believe in Your power to heal. We claim Matt's healing in Jesus' name, trusting that You will make a way where there seems to be no way. Thank You, Lord, for Your mercy, grace, and faithfulness. In Jesus' precious name, we pray. Amen.

Cammy, we are standing with you and Matt in prayer. Continue to trust in the Lord and keep your hope in Him. Remember the words of Psalm 147:3, "He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds." God is able, and He will make a way. Keep us updated on Matt's progress so we can continue to join you in prayer and give thanks to God for His mighty works.

Let's ask God to make His presence known in Matt's chemo and radiation treatments, guiding the doctors' hands and making the treatments effective. Let's also pray for Matt's strength and peace, knowing that God is right there with him, every step of the way.

We're reminded of 2 Corinthians 12:9, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." Let's trust in God's grace and power to sustain Matt and bring about healing. We're believing with you for complete healing, Cammy.

Let's also pray for the medical team, asking God to guide their decisions and give them wisdom. And let's not forget Matt's family, asking God to wrap them in comfort and support.
