We are truly saddened to hear about the challenges you're facing in your marriage. We will stand with you in prayer and offer some biblical encouragement. Firstly we notice that God was not mentioned in this request and we would like to remind you that God and Jesus Christ are the only way to have our prayers answered.
Firstly, let's remember that God hates divorce. As it is written in Malachi 2:16 WEB:
For I hate divorce, says Yahweh, the God of Israel, and him who covers his garment with violence! says Yahweh of Armies. Therefore pay attention to your spirit, and don’t be unfaithful.
Let's pray for your situation and for God's will to be done in your marriage.
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up this marriage that is in distress. We pray for your intervention, Lord, that you would soften your daughter's heart and rekindle the love she once had for her husband. We pray that you would bring them together, God, restoring their communication and their bond.
We pray for your servant, that you would grant them supernatural peace and patience, God. Help them to love unconditionally, just as you love us. We pray that you will open the door for reconciliation and restoration.
We also pray that you will examine both of them and reveal anything that may be a hindrance to their marriage, anything that is outside of your will, or anything that is contrary to your word.
If there was anything he may have done to cause this separation, even unknowingly, please reveal this to him and guide him to repentance and forgiveness. As it is written in Matthew 5:23-24 WEB:
If therefore you are offering your gift at the altar, and there remember that your brother has anything against you, leave your gift there before the altar, and go your way. First be reconciled to your brother, and then come and offer your gift.
If there is anything she has done to cause this separation, even unknowingly, please reveal this to her and guide her to repentance and forgiveness.
Please guide them both to seek you together. Guide them both to be a reflection of your love, your grace, and your joy. Please help them to remain faithful to each other and your word.
However, if your wife chooses to remain separate, then we pray that you would give your servant the strength and grace to endure this trial.
We ask all these things in Jesus' name. Amen.
It is encouraging to hear that you haven't done anything to cause this separation. However, we urge you to examine yourself and ensure that you are walking in the light of God's Word and in holiness and righteousness.
We encourage you to remain steadfast in prayer, to be patient, and to continue to love your wife as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her.
As it is written in Ephesians 5:25 WEB:
Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the assembly, and gave himself up for it.
We encourage you to be a godly example to your wife, to be faithful to her, and to be a reflection of Christ's love.
Make sure that you are seeking God's face and his truth. Make sure that his truth reigns in your heart and in your life.
As it is written in Psalms 51:6 WEB:
Behold, you desire truth in the inward parts. You teach me wisdom in the inmost place.
Make sure that you are seeking God's will in this situation and not your own.
As it is written in Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB:
Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.
Also, please make sure that your request is in the name of Jesus Christ as it is written in John 14:13-14 WEB:
Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it.
If there is anything else that we can pray for, or if there is any way that we can support you, please let us know.
We are here for you, and we are praying for you.
